Be the Best of British

A grey day at the 2014 Bournemouth Wheels Festival was brightened when The British Army Royal Armoured Corps brought a couple of their vehicles into our Dakar desert arena. A soaked but interested crowd grew to see the impromptu head to head on the edge of the surf.  Both flying the flag for the Best of British engineering, determination and grit.

Excite’s Team Principal, John Hardy, and Team Manager Anthea Lanesborough climbed into a Supacat Jackal with a 5.9l engine, while RABE Race Cars’ Chris Jones took out a number of soldiers, including LCpl Kieran Jardine (Queen’s Royal Hussars) in a 3.0l Desert Warrior 1.
